We have asked specifiers about which factors are most important in building the perfect product database for them, and we identified the following:
- Easy access to all relevant information including compliance docs.
- Good scope and depth of technical information.
- The currency and accuracy of information.
With that said, we strongly encourage attaching as much technical information as you can to your product listings on Productspec.
The Productspec website helps you manage your account with two tabs, both located in the top left of your admin portal when your are logged-in. These tabs are the Content tab and the Media tab. To attach a file, photo, document, or other piece of information to a product you need to upload that Media Tab first before, then find your product in your Content Tab and select your uploaded file to attach it to that product.
Follow this guide for uploading and managing files in your Media tab.
This means that you need to upload a file, image, or any kind of document to your Media Tab before you can add it to one of your Products in your Content Tab.
